HAPPY HALLOW'S EVE ERA-(dead)-BODY

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYBODY!!!!!

In honor of Halloween, we usually do a few things:

1. Go on a Killing Rampage (if your a murderer)
2. Dress up like a slut (if your a typical girl)
3. Eat lots and lots of CANDY! (YAY)
4. Go Trick or Treating! (DUH FREE CANDY!)
5. Get Drunk and Dance like an Idiot (Why not? I mean you already look like a retard in your costume)

So in order to follow along with the tradition and to comply with all these guide lines, you should go our to Past Time's tonight for a Halloween Punk show.

Winter Is Here!

With COLD temperatures hitting through out California, Winter has arrived. Today being the Day before Halloween, multiple resorts opened throughout the World's Greatest State of California. Boreal re-opened today with 20 features. A jump line amd a rail line. By far the best opening they have pulled yet. (Besides it was their Second re-opening THIS SEASON.) I had the chance to ride Boreal earlier today, I will post pictures later. It was AMAZING AND FUN, super-extra ordinarly-pooptastic FUN.

Also around the Lake Tahoe Area, Mt. Rose opened a run as well today. It is the magic carpet run, but it is still shred!

Heading down south : Mt. High and Bear Mtn. both opened to the public today!!! On a slight change of event's, Mammoth is not yet open. Mammoth also does not plan on re-opening until Nov. 7th.

In mu opionion with all these resorts throughout California to snowboard at daily, WINTER IS HERE AND IT IS EARLY!

THANK YOU SNOW GOD OR GOD'S, ALSO THANK YOU EL NINO!

Bro-Cal So-Cal

I am in Newport Beach this week, visiting family, friends, and surfing. I am crashing at Lyndsy Turdley's house right on the beach. This evening I decided to walk the 3 blocks down to the local super marker to grab a pizza and something to drink. As I was walking across the street a guy walking his dog saw me wearing all black, except for my shoes. He yells "Blah Blah, just like this FAGGOT over here in the red shoes!" So I turn and look at him and he is wearing a RED hoodie.

Really man? You just gave me something to laugh at instead of yourself.

I hope this guy was sooo incredibly high that he forgot he was wearing a red hoodie and when he got home from walking his dog, he looks at himself and cusses himself out for being a faggot in red.

I LOVE SO CAL

The Dali Lama

A passage by the Dali Lame

We can conceive the nature of mind in terms of the water in a lake. When the water is stirred up by a storm, the mud from the lake's bottom clouds it, making it appear opaque. BUT THE NATURE OF THE WATER IS NOT DIRTY. When the storm passes, the mud settles and the water is left clear once again. So although generally we may suppose mind, or consciousness, to be an inherent and unchangeable entity, when we consider it more deeply, we see it consists of a whole spectrum of events and experiences.

This quote is something I always remind myself of whenever I get angry, sad, or go through what I feel is a rough time. We need to remind ourselves, we are ALIVE and that is INCREDIBLE! I always find myself saying I am having a rough day, or that my week sucked. In all honesty, I HAVE IT SO GOOD, MY LIFE IS AMAZING, and I try to remind myself that no matter what I go through.

Opening Day at Boreal

Today Boreal opened with a few features. It was a complete Shit Show and Fashion Show, but in all regards it was FUN. I didn't really care about the horrible sticky snow or the shit tons of people crowding all over the place, or even the dirt patchs and rutted out landings. It was fun. Instead of taking my camera out to get a few shots, I decided to just ride all day and have fun.

September Snow; Tahoe's 1st Snow

September 30th was Tahoe's first dusting and snow fall. On that day I had to drive down to Reno for a few reasons, and saw that it had actually snowed, even with the weather men saying "20 % chance." It has been really cold and is starting to feel like winter. Boreal is even making snow and is looking to open early to mid October, weather permitting of course. There was snow on Tahoe Donner, over Donner Pass, on the tip of Northstar, and on Mt. Rose. Here are some photos.
